Cluster Collection

Post by FourthwallGames »

Requires MoreIotas for item types and Hexical for Collect/Extract Block. Made in the HexCreator modpack.

When casted, this hex will break specifically only Amethyst Clusters, giving you even more leeway than a jeweler's hammer does.
The way I have it set up silk-touches them for the sake of crushing via Create, though you can swap it for Break or Extract block if you don't have Hexical or a use for the cluster items.
Not the flashiest spell in the world, but incredibly handy for harvesting a full geode without breaking anything.

(Apologies for any terrible formatting, it's my first time using the forums and I've just copy-pasted this in from my splicing table.)

Code: Select all

{
    <Amethyst Cluster>
}
Mind's Reflection
Compass' Purification
Mind's Reflection
Alidade's Purification
Archer's Distillation
Undertaker's Gambit
Sorter's Purification
Single's Purification
Equality Distillation
{
    Collect Block
}
Vacant Reflection
Augur's Exaltation
Hermes' Gambit

Collect Block is from Hexical (as is Extract Block btw), so you'll need that as well if you want to use this.

Also, you can use Vacant Reflection to produce an empty list instead of using an empty intro/retro pair (functional difference is minimal, but the code looks cleaner), and you can stick an Undertaker's Gambit after the Archer's to use those coords again later in the hex without having to redo the raycast (don't have to pay the cost a second time, which can be significant if you're using raw media items to cast this).

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll update the hex to reflect that.
