What can I do to make the flight spell good?

Hello, as part of the 0.11 update, coming out some time this century, me and a few patrons have been discussing that one problem hexcasting has right now is that there's no "hook" spells.

By this they (kirindave, mostly) mean things that are cool and flashy and make people *want* to use hexcasting. We have a couple ideas in the pipeline.

One of the things I've tried to implement already as a hook feature is the Flight great spell. However, unless I'm mistaken no one actually uses it. I think in the pursuit of trying to not make it too overpowered I've made it suck.

So this is where I ask you, the community! What don't you like about Flight? Why don't you use it? What would a version of Flight you want to use look like?
